Does any one have experience in polishing out scratches and imperfections on an F40 perspex rear window? I have heard of kits for aviation perspex.

For general wear and tear, you can use a spray cleaner called "Plexus" which is really good. Furniture polish is also a really good alternative... The "Mr Sheen" type stuff.

For repairs to real scratches and damage, a decent panel shop with rubbing compound and an electric mop will do wonders, or for severe scratches, try contacting a local air field (Essendon/Moorabin) and they'll have a polisher they use for airplane and helicopter canopies.

I use Mothers Plastic liquid with an orbital buffer and my rear lexan came out like new. I used it again on my lexan windshield on my Mule with amazing results after 8 years of abuse in the woods and on the ranch.
PM me if you need more info, but I can just tell you that the end result were just spectacular.
I had my LM next to Johnny F40 at a show and the difference was noticed by many and I was even asked if I had a new rear window ??

FWIW, fellow fchatter jvbjr sent me some Mother's Reflections® Advanced Car Wax. I'm pretty impressed -- and trying to figure out how it compares to my beloved NXT. For now, it get's a thumbs up!

The airforce uses Plexus for it's airplane canopies. I'm not sure but I think Plexus was developed for them. It's really good for taking out swirls in plastics.
