So a fun age old question, (well since the 80's at least.) Taking performance out of the mix and centering your attention on aesthetics only... Which do you prefer? The more angular and chiseled 308 - The original. The more refined 328 - Last and most evolved of a good thing. Does color play into your equation? What if it's NOT red? You can consider euro bumpers for the 308 if you like. Let's see what we get. I personally go for the 308 qv with the euro bumpers in Black. Seems a little lighter looking and more nimble than the 328. I do prefer the final touches to the 328's lower rear. Whether you have one or not, what do you like the most? Don't consider the price difference. Robb Williamson

carb 308 with euro bumpers, i prefer the GTB , but i own a GTS. im not a fan of red or black as i have had too many cars in just those 2 colors. i will stick with my Marrone ( see profile ) one and try the other flavors as time allows!! the 328 is very graceful though!
I personally prefer the look of the early 308, without the rear wing, but WITH the 16" QV wheels. To me that is the "classic" look, with the "modern" touch of the QV wheels. I had a 308 and now a 328, no doubt the 328 is the better performer, but I truly like the cleaner look of the early 308. JMHO Regards, Dave
Come on guys! Look how balanced this design is!(My profile pic) The bumpers on the 308 look like an afterthought and were fixed on the 328s! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Actually, I find the 328 front bumper to be particularly "blunt" in profile. The "euro" style bumperettes for the 308 are particularly attractive (but worthless for protection).
Old school, baby. I going to have to say 308. I like the lines of the car with those classic bumpers. Sweet!
I bought the 328 because I thought it was the more polished and refined version of this vehicle. But, for this poll, I voted for the 308, because the wedge front end and the black QV grille-work give that vehicle a menacing, shark-like presence. I have to agree with the others, though, that the black bumpers on the US 308s look out of place, and the color-coded bumpers of the 328 are much better.
I have to say I like the looks of the 308 over the 328. I like the wedge shape nose with the euro bumpers the most. And the 16" rims would have to be a must..
I have to agree with some of the comments above. I like the front end on the old 308's best. I do like how they cleaned up the rear end though on the 328's. In the end I had to vote with my heart. Go 308!!! By the way this was Post #200 Woo-hoo!!
the 328 all the way. the people who own them must love them to. I have been looking for a 89gts red/tan in california for sale for 2 months and still havn't fond one. gavin
328! However, I do like the front hood of 308 better, and all those switches inside of 308, too. Because I grew up seeing 308 & 512BB as first super cars, they give me the image of classic exotics.
I'm not sure if I understand the point..."winning"... what? Or just that more people are in agreement with your assessment, so that is a "win"? We all win, they are ALL wonderful cars. We all like some Ferraris more than others. So what? Dave
For me the original look of the 308 in GTB, Euro bumpers and deep front spoiler is the prettiest. I also like that the early cars are all color in the front rather than the black painted headlamp louvers and the vent louvers. I think in this form you see the bloodlines back to the 246 so well. Just like this.... Cheers Kevin Image Unavailable, Please Login
agreed. The Euro 308 is by far better looking than any of the 328's- Euro, USA or any other type of 328. JMHO.
Agreed, I like it as pictured, but without the deep chin spoiler...other wise, yes, euro bumpers, no rear spoiler, no black painted front vents, and 16" QV wheels!
