I think the 328 (pre ABS wheels) look the best... I never really cared for the convex ABS wheels. All others look out of place IMHO.....

When I first saw the 360's I thought it really brought the car up-to-date, but with further consideration, they seem just too "thin" for the overall design of the car (I agree, great on a 360, not on a Mondial). The orginals look somewhat dated to me; the 355's seem to strike about the right balance.

    Hi Adnaan,
Since beauty is in the eye of the beholder (YOU - It's your car) a poll is really of no value in terms of YOU deciding what you like. Blond or dark hair, blue or brown eyes, tall or short lovers - - - but since your opened this up, I feel that if it were my car, I would leave the original wheels on.
    Hehe, cheers, Hank

Not sure if the 328 offsets will work, but I like them best, with the 355 wheels a close second. The others just look strange to me on the Mondial.....

355 looks great and seems to fit properly. 360's don't look right to me.

    Cheers

    Original or 348.

I also like the 328 wheels on the Mondial but no 355 or 360 wheels.

Out of the poll choices, I think the Original Wheels look the best.

There is one more possibility though.... What about 288GTO type wheels? I know the original GTO wheels will not fit a 5 lug car and are very difficult to find, but I have seen GTO replica 5 lug wheels on eBay, available in several different sizes. They would keep that "Factory Ferrari Look" but set off the car as something special. Perhaps someone could photoshop this one, too see what it may look like??

After quickly voting for the 355's for some strange reason, I saw the 328 non abs wheels and I do think they are now the best.

I have always had a problem with the look of the abs wheels.

As a Mondial Owner, I personaly prefer the 355 rims on the car, however have found it very difficult in acquiring and take-off since they are so popular.

I think the 360 rims are a bit bulky on the 86 and higher models, but what do you guys think about the 360 rims on the 85 and lower models?

I also think the color has alot to do with the look!

looking to buy my first f car sometime in december/january and will be buying a mondial, good to see the pics of the different wheel options. i think that the 355s look the best, the 348 don't look bad though. your silver mondial looks good, don't know about the 360 wheels, they may look better in person though. in your opinion do you think they have helped the handling?

I have heard that the handling improves over the metric tires. I believe there is a thread to attest to that.

Here is another Mondial that is not mine, but with some good lookin HRE rims, if you have about $6k.

I saw that one on ebay, it did look nice, it was up in northern california. there is a red one on collectorcartrader.com that has close to the same rims. don't have 6-8k for wheels, just concentrating on getting the car first.

I actually bid on his auction. I talked to him after it didn't meet the reserve price and he wanted $41k. He probably spent that much in custom suff on the car, but I didn't think an 86 should bring that much money. I bought the next Black 85 mondial on ebay about two weeks ago and am anxiously awaiting delivery from Ohio. I figured that I have pleny of room for adding on stuff, and I get to have the fun of doing it!

COngrats on the new purchase, and dont forget to post pics when u get the car. But one huge mustake buddy. YOu should have picked up the car! I bought my car in France and flew out with my mechanic to check it out. (My profile pic has a pic of the inspection). ANyway the car checked out so we paid for the car and drove back to England the same day! I tell you one hell of an experience. Best way to do it.

I know your right, but I got lazy and I trusted the owner. I did do some research on the car though. I talked to the mechanic and he verified the car the last time he saw it was in top condition and the owner had just finished a mini restoration of $14k

Sooo I too am crossing my fingers.

Will let you all know soon!!
