This is good for Ferrari as it forces those fans that are so lost in their Ferrari red colored glasses version of Hamilton hate, to reassess reality. After spending 10 years on F-chat trying to use logic to argue Lewis's obvious talents on the track, it will be therapeutic (or Karma) for those hard-core Lewis haters to realize that every dollar they spend on Ferrari they are paying a percentage directly to Lewis because Ferrari itself has reconized and endorsed his amazing level of talent.

It has been a long long ling time since I read a post made exclusively of a mix 50/50 of horse and cow feces.....
    This one takes the trophy....

is there a ban article for a post that smell like feces and contains nothing but excrements.....
Unbelievably far and away from what Ferrari fans are thinking at the moment

The answer to that is simple. Stop spending money with Ferrari. :D

That’s the beautiful thing about freedom of choice. One can always vote with their wallet. Last I checked they aren’t the only car manufacturer or F1 team that will happily take my money! ;)

I think the Tifosi will barbecue Hamilton if he does not start winning right away. Especially with his salary to be rumored $100 million. He will moan and groan because they don't like him that much. He'll blame the car because it will be a POS. But he'll keep cashing in on those big checks.
    I already can't wait until he's gone.

Wonder what your pretty little picture would look like, if we focused on the last 2 years? Also, seems to me your chart needs to be updated, just about every race ... and it's not Hamilton's or Schumacher's numbers that are changing ;)

Another way to ask the same question: wouldn't a team interested in the FUTURE of their RACING organization be interested in the "slope" of the curve, rather than just a static "point"? How do the "slopes" (rate of change) of your data points compare, as better predictors of FUTURE performance?

No matter. We all know the answers. If you think this move has anything to do with racing, i've got a bridge to sell you ...

Where i certainly do agree with you: Every dollar spent on Ferrari merchandise will now be funding, in part, the "Hamilton brand". Trust me, that point isn't lost on the bean counters in Maranello ;)

Where i hate to disappoint you: Doesn't impact me, I have no Ferrari purchases planned for the forseeable future :(

Lewis doesn’t need to win right away, he only needs to 1 beat LeC and 2 not act like he doesn’t respect the team/fans/italy.
#2 won’t happen (I expect he’ll tone down the “this car is slow” public comments, even if true) and #1 will be supremely interesting to watch.

This move is right out of the Kardashian playbook. :D

I personalty hate it but I can admit it’s going to bring in truck loads of money from the sheeple. I’m sure that’s their main focus and if he happens to win races it will just be a nice added bonus.

Reality - Most if not all truly winning drivers want to rule and continue when in that position.
Contract - negotiated and signed by both parties with the FULL understanding of the obvious option exercised by LH. So NO the Kardashians were not involved.

    Pironi ?
Would have been WDC in 1982 without his madness in hockenheim..
Gilles death has nothing to do with Pironi ( as Jacques already publicly stated),

Possibly the early voting was by the passionate Ferrari F1 fans who are on the forum every day, the more casual fans vote later?

Well that didn't take long did it? His very first public correspondence. My prediction was correct.

" I now have the chance to fulfil another childhood dream. Driving in Ferrari red."

    https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/hamilton-opens-up-on-ferrari-f1-move-after-crazy-few-days/10572065/

    But he previously said,

“But what happened at the time was I was coming home and watching Formula 1, watching Ayrton Senna’s video, ‘racing is in my blood’, and I watched it every day and my mind was set: I want to drive a McLaren. It’s my favourite-looking car and it’s got my favourite driver in it.

“We had to borrow a suit from the kid who won it the previous year because we couldn’t afford a suit, and then when we got there, my dad was telling me who was who – because I’m a 10-year-old, I have no idea who was who

“So, my dad goes: ‘That’s Ron Dennis over there, he’s the boss of McLaren that makes those cars that you love.’

“And I knew immediately at that point, that’s who Ayrton drives for and that’s who I want to drive for."

Where did he say he didn't want to drive for Ferrari? Could he want to drive for McLaren and then Ferrari? I see no valid points in your post
