Make your pick, I know it's hard but you must have one that is above all others.
355 There are a lot of contenders since most of the cars from that era are beautiful but the 355 reigns supreme!
I said other Barchetta. The 458 Aperta is close second. I saw one the other day on a truck. Red with stripes. Pretty darn awesome. The problem with the Barchetta is it goes to last with the top up!
That is, votes cast for the F40 and 288 GTO. The question is, which is the most " beautiful" Ferrari. Not "what is the most significant modern Ferrari (355) or what is the most bad assed-looking Ferrari. (Without question, the F40). It's the 288 GTO that captures the design legacy started by the 308 GTB, that you don't see in the F40's styling. Even without the evolution of its design, the 288 just looks "right," in terms of balance. It's lithe in areas where the F40 looks chunky (rear-half). Just my opinion.
There's only one, from 1947 and onwards... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/288gto-f40-f50-enzo-laferrari/164148-ferrari-288-gto.html
I would agree with that assessment. The F40 is badass but the 288 GTO just has spectacular lines, everything about the design is just so dang sexy!
355. It just have the right proportions, the Berlinetta looks fast and light even stopped. I'd rate 512TR 2nd and 288 GTO 3rd.
550. 360 Challenge Stradale (the ever so slightly more aggressive aero, bigger wheels, challenge grille) is perfect though. No bad angle on it. But I guess in this poll it's a sub model.
the 355 is beautiful. the 458 is beautiful. the 550 is beautiful. the F40 is aggressively stunning... but the 288GTO is just epic and winning in a landslide!
I really don't understand how people can say the 288 is the most beautiful. Striking yes, intriguing yes, fascinating yes, drawing yes - but beautiful? C'mon now. That's like saying a woman is beautiful because she's an athlete with an extreme physique. Marija Sharapova is definitely not ugly by any means, but hey, she's not Hana Jirickova either. As far as sheer elegance and beauty goes, I know which one I'd pick.
