Hmm, if you wanted this to be accurate, why did you include "porn star"? Besides, as someone else said, that would fit under "entertainment" anyway.

Well, I used to be a jet-setting IT and e-business consultant travelling all over North America and Europe and feeling mighty important. That was until the high tech meltdown. Now I just sit in a stupid cubicle with co-workers half my age and less than half my experience.

    Am I bitter ? **** yes.

Ok, I feel better now. I guess that would be "Other"

Yeah, it sucks. Not only am I working with a bunch of kids - none of whom have ever worked at a command prompt - but I don't travel a single bit.

My career has definitely taken several steps backward and I'm doing many of the same things I did 10 years ago. At least the director I report to is a good person with the qualities I respoect and the company has excellent benefits.

It's amazing how quickly things can turn. Just two months after I was leading an XML messaging group in Helsinki, I was starting from ground zero again in an completely new field using 1980s technology.. Now at least the job is ok and getting better, but the $$$ is way behind where I should be.

The death of the command prompt as a viable user interface is really a shame, IMO. I'm only 18, but I got hooked on computers in 1989. To this day I still prefer a command line interface over a graphical one for many tasks. Its just such a pain to use the command line in Win XP :(
