So my neighbors were gone in Africa so me and my buddies were swimming in their pond. My friend thought it would be a great idea to go wakeboarding in their pond it turned out not so bad. I called up my other buddy and we got my old wakeboard. Our tow vehicale was a 4x4 fourwheeler

In this video we were still working on the length of the rope as you can see it proved to be a little to short.

Very creative and it looked like fun! I've tried wakeboarding before and I just couldn't catch on. Water skiing isn't a problem, but I guess I wasn't used to standing sideways. Btw, do you have more pics of that pond? What does your neighbor use it for? It looks rather large and man made...

What do they put in the water? Looks like it's dyed.

You mean like that stuff they put in the water for those fancy putt putt golf places?

A lot of people put dye in pond water to keep plant growth from taking over.

Me and my two friends who went have wakeboarded for some years. The danger factor was extremly little we can carve hard to avoid the rocks.

Thanks Randy, it took a couple trys to perfect with the rope length and such. But once we got everything worked out it was fun.

Here is a picture of most of the pond. It does have a water slide, a trampolein, a blob, and a long tube that hangs of the side of the trampolein. They are adding a zipline soon so we wil try to wakeboard off that as well.

I don't think I would want to be swimming in that dye.

The dye is harmless. It just blocks the transmission of light down into the water to limit plant and algae growth. Fish aren't bothered by it at all.

But don't they eat plants and stuff? I guess they throw in those pellets for them to eat.

Maybe the blue stuff is copper sulfate. When I was a kid we used to use it to treat our pond.

Depends on the fish, but most game fish aren't going to live off the algae or other plants.
