Help. After a weekend of driving I've noticed two pools of oil under my 430. It is a 6 speed, so not an F1 pump leak. Obviously it needs to go to the dealer (jsut turned 1000 miles), but is this something that the Ferrari roadside assistance would cover (in terms of flatbedding it there?)? Anyone with experience or thoughts please chime in.

Scott, absolutely. I used it once, had an fcar experienced flatbed pu and drop off at my door. Go for it, no sense risking a bigger problem.

I'd discuss it over with your dealer but most likely they will say flat bed it over, 15 miles could be serious damage if something is broken!

Scotty: I had some F1 fluid leak (twice) under mine. Talked to my dealer (200 miles away), and they said it had to come there to get checked out. Called Roadside and they took care of everything. Came with a flat bed and picked up the car this past Monday. Very professional service. Very careful with the car. I was 100% pleased. Arrived at the dealer that same day and they are bringing it back to me tomorrow. Really looking forward to it coming home. Al

Update--or why doctors shouldn't be mechanics.

It wasn't engine oil, it was gearbox oil. There was an "ill fitted" plug on the side of the transmission case (6 speed). Kelly at Ron Tonkin also dealt with several other issues.

Bummer to have the car gone, but many kudos to Kelly and the RTGT service staff for excellent and speedy service.
