I guess Stradale owners could consider it flattery. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferrari-360-360-Challenge-Stradale-Clone-NR-Rebuilt-title_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ84156QQihZ014QQitemZ330149730389QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
That car was listed on eBay a few months ago with those same pictures, so maybe it never sold. They must have dumped quite a bit of money into that car though just to get it to look like a CS (door panels, center console, mirrors). As somebody else had mentioned in the old thread: what happens when you hit the L.C. or the Race buttons?
Taking the fact that it is a Salvage title out of the picture, I think it's a cool idea to get all the Stradale parts on there. The only thing I have a problem with is the fact that he also put on the Stradale emblems on the rear. That is straight poser status!
I would go so far as to stripe it and call it a tribute car, but I wouldn't have put the badge there. Having some cool parts, not even half of the sum of parts that distinguish a CS, doesn't make it a Stradale.
While it's only half bad to update all the body panels and interior bits to resemble the Stradale, it's all-bad to put the Challenge Stradale badges on the dash and rear grill. My first 911 had a factory Turbo body kit, but Porsche didn't put "Turbo" on the rear deck lid or embroider Turbo into the carpeting etc. Frank
