    Our new Mac is effed up, so I've been forced back to using my PC. I use Firefox for the web, I have a firewall and Norton plus my security settings are maxed, but I'm still getting those damn popups from registrycleanerxp.com nearly once a minute! What else can I do?! It's a full-time job just clearing them out.

    Wow, I use Firefox too, and I have no pop-up problem at all.

    Are you sure you have the most recent version of FF?

    Also, are you using Ad-Aware? www.lavasoft.com I think.

    Try spybot search and destroy. It's free and between it and lavasoft's free program adaware, I have been able to keep the bad men out of my computer as far as I know. Also, since you know the program that's causing the infestation, do a google search on it and you should have several computer techie websites that will come up and tell you how to remove the offensive program with extreme prejudice.
