A design wierdness (security in Italy I suppose) is that I can not pop the trunk hood without doing the oragami bend to get the key in and on. Has anyone elese on the site just added a second remote to your chain that has a pushbutton to pop the hood and cubby?. As an alternate can the car be told to allow me to just reach over and push the trunk and cubbyhole buttons without turning on the key? P.S. those who remember my squeeking noise in the morning my dealer in Montreal changed the aftermarket belt that the dealer in the states had installed for an origional Ferrari speck one and also installed two new cam belt tensioners at the same time and all is cool. I would like to send a big thank you for the awsome servece afforded me by Ferrari Masaratti Scottsdale for standing behind their work as they have looked after the cost of this repair even though technecally they could have told me to get lost. I have had nothing but excellant servece and a great deal from these folks. My salesman Chad also delivered on each and every promice and on time! I can not tell all you on the site enough how glad I am that I spent the extra few bucks (actually less now that the smoke has cleared!) and bought my baby from an authorized dealer who makes his living dealing with repeat customers.
I find it much easier to just reach in from the outside (assuming the window is down) and just pop the manual release.
