It was always a happy day when the silver recovery guy would turn up and hand over thousands of dollars in cash
Also a rare car, they made 51 of them. Better to drive than a Periscopo. Gerry D had a Tahitian Blue one up here, ex-US car. Give me a hoy if you need a hand removing / refitting the engine - I'm an X-spurt. (hint, you need a 2-post hoist and some brave pills)
Well no, not all old cars are money and time down the drain. But you knew what I meant! Mischievous rascal
Bloody hell, why didn't Lambo just drop the whole rear end like the 355 ? That is a nightmare due to the stupid gearlever . I use to pull 350 Chev engines out with my dad in minutes with just him and me, these lot need about 6 guys to do it
You just set them on fire don't you ? What car ? HQ should be less than an hour The Chev I pulled out was in an HQ
Because the chassis was designed (by Dallara) for maximum stiffness, at a time when the available technology required lots of tubes to counter twisting loads. They built it like a Le Mans prototype, not for maintenance practicality. But FFS, Lambo should have designed a detachable gear lever!
