Here she is here, cleanish before i went into insane mode, as you can see the rear tyre [nee, tire] is clogging, nothing more revs wont fix Spent 2 hours, tons of water, and kg's of mud removed from underneath, "showboating", circle-work, and rallycross in a 4x4 NOT recommended Live and learn! Great car, thanks for sharing mate. A friend just picked up a 1995 Toyota LC Sahara factory turbo diesel. Car looks to be in excellent condition with 384,000 km on the clock. He paid $28K for it. Reckons he paid too much, but it's all good as they are hard to get because no one wants to sell them. lol His Dad just purchased one also. His Dad paid more for a 1997 model with less km's on it.
Long as it has good service history, not raped or bashed about, all should be good. Love the Sahara and VX, so much luxury The Toyota L/C bring INSANE amounts of money at the wholesale auctions, hands everywhere, they pay RETAIL for them, never got close to winning one, like money in the bank, everybody wants one You cannot even buy a new 70 series off the showroom floor, order it and 90 days if your lucky Its the ONLY vehicle i have sold in 30+ years that made me shed a tear, sad when this one goes
This one has definitely been well looked after. He is extremely happy with it and I was actually quite surprised at the condition of it with near 400,000 km's on the clock. I have seen A LOT of those engines over 600,000+ km's without being rebuilt and I have seen maybe 3 or 4 cars that had 800,000+ km's on them without having a rebuild. I assume the owners are being honest with me when they tell me these things. Engines all original, but they have all had gearbox and diff rebuilds and diesel injector pump overhauls. Plus the general wear and tear items like clutch, brakes, bushes/suspension etc.
Nah, but I have seen a few stock 1HZ diesel engines with over 1,000,000 km's on them. Still running like a dream too. Definitely one of the best engines ever made IMO. You just can't kill them. We still have them in around half of our fleet underground. The abuse those engines get day in day out is amazing and they just keep going and going.
Lol, they can fail, don't worry. I have only ever replaced one or two 1HZ engines in my time, they are nearly 100% bulletproof if taken care of. Please let me know what happened to your car when you can thanks mate.

Talkin' about Thunderstruck from the land of 'What could possibly go wrong here'.... It's a miracle that nothing did go wrong given the spectator positioning. Re the Viper vid,the viper was wheelspinning for half the vid.
Interesting. Well, to me anyway. http://www.carpoint.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=SSE-AD-4428034&Cr=1
