Does Porsche have a forum similar to this one where Porsche is the main gig and Ferrari and others are the minor topics?

Porsche forums are populated by total pucker-butts.

generally I've found this to be true. 6speedonline seems to be the best of them, but I only go there for technical information; otherwise I tend to avoid them.

I'd say Rennlist is the place for the most technical information and fewest teenagers pretending they have CGTs....

Rennlist def. has fewer posers, but seems (IMO) to be better at technical info on 993 and previous Porsches, while 6speed is better for newer models. may just be my (limited) experience-only been on both sites a few dozen times.

As others have noted, Rennlist is indeed best. 6speedonline can be a bit...sophomoric and bling-oriented at times.

Rennlist is very good. Just don't expect as many threads on bikinis, people peeing in convertibles, etc.

The main problem is it's a bit boring due to lower traffic.

Most of the Porsche boards are full of pricks, Rennlist is the worst. 6 Speed is tolerable.

Depends upon what you're looking for. Pelican is great- but their 993 section doesn't get much traffic. Rennlist has a very active 993 section.

Every web-based forum I have ever visited has had its fair share of jacka-monkeys.

Seems to me, if you do a search first, and avoid the religion/politics stuff, you'll be fine!

Wow... haha some funny comments about the Porsche Boards:)

I like the Pelican board the best. I race both my 935s in vintage, HSR , Monterey Historics , and there is a good group of 935 owners where we basically have an on going 935 thread in the 911 tech forum . Tons of 935 info and photos.

There are a few jerks for sure but all in all most seems to be good people.

I find Rennlist best - knowledgeable posters, good camaraderie. Six Speed can be a bit...bling-oriented.

For 928's it is Rennlist all the way. REALLY great vibe on that forum area... We are all outcasts driving the once flagship Porsche and we just love them and are happy to help other find and enjoy them as well. Probably a bit like the 400/412 guys here...

The early911sregistry.org is my favorite. The Pelican site is best for technical information and parts/cars FS. Rennlist is geared to newer cars.
