Porsche GT3 vs Ferrari 360 & 355 vs NSX vs Subaru vs Evo

A fun idea, but I don't see how that race could be taken as a serious comparison by any stretch of the imagination. There was nothing scientific or "even" about it. The start positions and start times were all over the place.

 

Awesome vid, love Best Motoring's stuff.

I love the F355 driver, he doesn't care if he wins or loses he just likes the fact that he has the best sounding car there.

I like the fact that they gave them a couple laps, to work through all the slow pokes. While the GT3 is very fast, I think the driver of the 360 had a crappy start. He had an F1 transmission, there is no reason for the Gt3 to have such a jump on him at the start. I would have liked to have seen a race between the 360 and the GT3.

 

Why do you think the 360 driver had a hard time with the car.
Because he pushed so hard against a more track tuned GT3?
Would a CS have done noticably beter?

 

i'm sorry, did you WATCH the video? the 355 was the one that stumbled. the 360 had a fine start, but the gt3 is just a better track car. period.

the CS on the other hand would give the gt3 a run for the money.
