Four at the moment, five total. I've owned three, I was looking to buy a early model '85 944 with fuchs, and my mom surprised me by buying it out from under me, later, when we found a '89S2 for sale locally, I bought it, and she got the S2. Http://www.andrewscars.com/944/1.jpg After mom got the S2, my brother had been trying to sell his SUV as its insurance was killing him, he sold it a few days after, and got a black '86 944, bringing it to three. http://www.andrewscars.com/944/944family.jpg When my brother was getting married, he sold the '86 to my other brother. my first car was "adjusted" by a pickup truck attempting to "lane split" like a motorcycle, totaled it. '85, 215,000 miles on it when it was hit. I replaced it with a dog of a '86 that was Yellow, looked good, but was a northern car, suspension had seen a lot of abuse. http://www.andrewscars.com/944/944ready.jpg About a year later, my brother was missing a sports car, and found a '84 944 on the Tennesee/Arkansas border, bought it, and drove it back looping over several of the mountain passes rather than just one. Here it is right after the trip. http://www.andrewscars.com/944/84944.jpg Which brings it up to four. http://www.andrewscars.com/944/944s.jpg http://www.andrewscars.com/944/944family2.jpg Last October I was going to buy my brother's '84 and have two. I wanted to use one for track days, and have the other in case I wrecked. Week before I was going to buy it, my brother put it into a tall curb and broke the front right suspension doing some body dammage as well, nothing serious. I bought it still though, I've taken care of the mechanicals, but still haven't done the paint/body work yet. Its not quite so pretty anymore, but it does drive great. When I went to the DMV to register the '84, I drove my '86, came out an hour later and my car had been hit, ack! Put a rod through the motor when I was taking it to a shop. I've waited to fix it until I have garage space to work on it more freely, so its pretty much just parked inoperative right now. This winter I should finally have a place to work on it, and get a new motor and front suspension in there.
