Just brought it home today after some mechanical sorting and getting it ready for another 100k miles. Even being basically an updated design of a 60s car, it’s amazing how right they got it. I like how Nathan Merz, PCA’s valuation guy describes these as “heirloom-quality cars”; I agree. Image Unavailable, Please Login
My new pride and joy. Just got it back from a specialist for some much needed maintenance. Unfortunately this shop didn´t have the time and manpower to do everything on my list, so it's going to another specialist in a week to finish the job. Thanks! It's a Strosek conversion. Vittorio Strosek designed a few Koenig conversions as well, for example for the 512 BB, 308/328 and Testarossa. As far as I can tell everything else is stock, apart from the shocks and it does sound a bit louder too. But I will probably want it to be even louder in the future.
Nice. I have become a big fan of these 80’s German tuner cars. I have a DP, but I do like the Strosek stuff. Not quite as “out there “as some of the other tuners. Enjoy.
DP, nice! I was a teenager when these cars came out and read a lot of German car magazines. So no surprise I'm a huge fan of them. This picture is one of my favorites: Image Unavailable, Please Login
