If so, then I met him at Radnor last year where he presented the Donahue 917. He said that the car scared the p!ss out of him when it popped a wheelie at 100! What an insanely fast car.

For anyone in the Mid Atlantic Area, the Radnor Hunt Concours d'elegance is Pebble Beach on the east coast. Its a smaller event with about 105 cars in a lovely setting. I judged 3 classes last year and hope to do so again. This year the featured marque is Pierce Arrow and celebrating the 50th anniversary of the last Mille Migla. There will be some amazing cars on the lawn. I believe it is September 9th and is just outside of Philadelphia.

Last year Porsche was the featured marquee so I have plenty of additional vintage Porsche pictures to share.

    cheers

This car has the normally aspirated engine in it. I haven't driven it yet. Due to be delivered beginning of next week.

I've always liked the phone dial rims on those cars. Have you had any offers to buy it?

I had offers weekly on my couple of 924/944 series cars.

Yes, Neil, offers come very frequently these days as you've experienced. These cars are great candidates for tuning and club racing. A lot can be done with them.

The phone dials were very sporty on the front engine Porsches in the late 70s and 80s and are classics today.

Would you accept a reasonable offer? Or is it a keeper?

    Very nice!

Excuse my ignorance but is the 951 a standard, S, S2 or a Turbo?

Wow. I know a few people that have old cars that bought them new. I can't imagine having a car for soo long.

I like the colour of your car as well as the wheels and body, does it have any issues?

It might be getting on in years, but the styling remains beautiful and nicer than some stuff out there today. I feel the same way about the 928. The car runs as it did when new...no issues whatsoever.

That's good to hear. A lot of owners let their 924/944 series cars fall into disrepair.
