here is the deal guys, Foreign Cars Italia has a 911 with 144k miles on it, and the engine was "rebuilt" by Motormeister.

Motormeister has a terrible, horrible, awful reputation on Pelican and Rennlist among the Porsche people. Thier working on the engine is a huge MINUS to the cars resale.

i am prepared to buy a used 3.2 liter engine (when i can find one, chime in if ya have one) because this is a black on black slopenose car. ( not a factory widebody, and not a factory slope).

if the car passes a basic PPI, then i can make an educated offer, and buy a spare engine to replace the grenade it currently has.

or i can pass and wait for a slopenose with no stories, and one thats not a convertable( it is winter afterall)

    any reccommendations for a shop to look at a 911 ! ?

i can do this deal on Friday if all falls into place.

    thank you.

    Michael

The guys at Eurowise were outstanding. they did the inspection for free, and would not take an offered gratuity for squeezing the car in and looking at it with short notice.

Dean and Nick at Foreign Cars Italia have been great to work with. An agreement should be reached this weekend.

    one way or another.
