I am flying in to Newark next week to inspect and do a PPI on a Porsche 996 Twin Turbo that I have conditionally purchased from a private vendor.

If anyone could give me the contact information of a reputable non-franchised Porsche shop with 996TT experience on the west side (the car is in Bergen) it would be much appreciated.

TIA for any and all answers..................!!!!

Good dealer in Parsippany, NJ -- Paul Miller Porsche Audi. They have a good shop there. Call and ask for Norman in sales, he can connect you with the right person in the shop.

Alternative -- High Marques in Morristown, NJ. They have a showroom, sell their own and consignment cars, and they have a very good shop.

Not familiar with any shops in Bergen County, but I'm sure someone from up that direction can help.

I would contact Mike Daino at Powertech in Rockaway (973-586-3210) or Paul at Protosport in Parsippany (973-839-5353). Both are independent Porsche shops, PCA affiliated, and come highly recommended by PCA members. Powertech has been servicing my 911 for over 10 years...

Shoot me a PM and let me know where in Bergen County you will be going.

I will give you a number of suggestions local to where ever the car may be.

The shops listed are all good one, but not in Bergen County.
