    Yeah, vintage tires and wheels aren't too confidence-inspiring.

    OTOH, you can have extreme white-knucked fun even while driving worry-free through speed traps.

    One sold last night on the RM auction program that ESPN airs for well north of $100k. Also, in this months Excellence they spotlight 356's in their market guide and values are waaaaaaaaay up. I passed on a 356 C coupe about 4 years ago that has since doubled in value.

    That's right. According to the Jeep salesman, only Jeeps are currently trail-rated. The way he explained it to me was, Jeep is tired of other SUVs claiming that their vehicles are trail-rated, when in fact they are not. It's a public-service kind of deal by Jeep, and I for one appreciate it.
