    I don't think 5 speeds were offered in 79, only 4 speeds. Shame to f*ck up a classic like that.

    In 1979 the 928 came with a 3-speed auto (sourced from M-B) or a 5-speed manual.

    A turbo, however, was never an option. :)

    Thats horrible, what a way to ruin a car. Still not as bad as the Kia with Ferrari stickers that I saw once.
