Arrrgh. More photo evidence of my ****e parking job. Guess the F430 isn't exactly made for backing up.

Agree about the event. Nice to meet folks.

Decent turnout this weekend, even with the clouds. I had the 365GT out, first time in a while.

Great turn out today. Good to see summer has brought out some of the cars and drivers of the past.

It was a great turnout, and I didn't even see you!

Although, the guy in the Mercedes who did the burnout and looked like he almost lost it when departing didn't do us any favors...

Didn't see you until you were leaving. Good to see the 512.

Yea I am surprised we have gone this long with out more village idiots show up. We were all waiting to hear the crunch following the burnout, but I guess he regain control. Not sure how to get them in line with out involving the local PD. Although, them just being there may be enough to detour the behavior.

Actually one of our NWRFCA members was on the drive with the guy in the Mercedes, so we know who he is. There will be a conversation in the near future with the driver about his behavior...

I left my iPhone at home; otherwise I'd have taken some pictures and posted them here. Great turnout with lots of interesting cars on Saturday, including a heartbreakingly beautiful 599 in rosso fiorano/tan and a 1957 Aston DB MkII.

Are there any Ferrari/Italian car only events in Pdx anymore?

I think all that would do is make the event smaller and less fun,not more desirable by its exclusivity. PDX C&C usually has one or more 360, 430, 458, California, 612, 599, Mondial, 456M (mine), 365GT, 355, 308, and 328. Yeah, there are a lot of Beemers, 911s, Audis, Astons, Bentleys, Corvettes,Lotuses, Vipers and others, but that just adds to the experience. I even enjoyed seeing a Tesla S there.

    Chris,
Our original Portland Cars and Coffee started as an unofficial Ferrari and Lambo event, as a way to not appear biased through official dealership sponsorship. It has continued that way as we have morphed into a larger event which welcomes all marques and owners alike. Every Saturday, rain or shine, all year long. Almost always several Ferraris, along with BMWs, Porsches, Audis, and a good assortment of Astons, Mercedes, and other interesting vehicles. Typical count on a nice summer day is 80-100 vehicles.

I honestly can't recall the last Ferrari/Italian car only events in Portland, other than Northwest Region FCA events or perhaps any of the Alfa Romeo Owners of Oregon (AROO) events. And yes, I'm the Regional Director for the NWRFCA and a long-time member of AROO.

Is there a particular event which you are remembering?

Another great turnout; well over 50 cars from 1950s MG TF and 356s to an F458 spyder. I'll post a few pics later.

I just flew into Portland today. I saw that Tesla (it looked like the same one). Red 360 Spider, white Exige and red SLS as well.

Anything going on this weekend, C&C wise? If so, what's the address and time?

Parking lot behind Starbucks, next to the marriott: 15686 Sw Sequoia Pkwy, Tigard, OR. Any time after 8:30 it starts

From Portland, go south on I-5 past the OR 217 interchange to the Carmen Drive exit. turn right and then right again and go about 1/4 mile; it's on the right.

There's usually a pretty good turnout (as you can see from the pics). A fun way to start the weekend.

Rain or shine, all year round. Should be a good turn out with the sun out. Don't be fooled by the lack of photos. Most of us spend the majority of the time catching up and looking at the cars that showed up, that we forget to take any pictures.

Great shots, Steve! I was going to post some pics of the cars, but I think you get them all.
