We have engaged the local law enforcement to attend and enjoy the cars, not write any tickets. It's all about building bridges!

Thanks to everyone who is showing up at the new location! With better weather, this event should quickly grow larger than at the previous location!

    See you on Saturday!

I was headed out of town during the event this Saturday, driving I-5 north and had hoped to see the cars from the freeway. Way too many trees in the way and the grade of the freeway is much higher than I thought so I couldn't see anything.
This seems kinda unfortunate since part of the fun of C&C is the non-participant/general gawker coming over, admiring, and asking questions.

For sure the lack of door dings and "suspicious types" milling about is a huge bonus, but does the new site feel a little too isolated from the general public?

Guess I need to get my sorry carcass over soon so I can find out for myself! :D

I think privacy is going to actually bring more, and more interesting, cars out.

What cars / type of cars are welcomed there?

    Ferraris, obviously.

    Must they be "exotics?"

Hope no El Caminos and Monster trucks.

They're all welcome. The more obscure the better, but it really doesn't matter.

Think he is still snowbirding with the 458 in Cali.

Although I did blink my eyes twice on Saturday. Perhaps he did pull through and stay for his usual duration. ;-)

    ... Still no Marty sightings????[/QUOTE]

I am waiting for a personalized invitation.
I can't decide whether to bring the 458 or the new cayman S.
I am waiting for the first sunny day over 80 degrees.
The new venue is too far away.
    I am awaiting $3.00 gas.
The nursing home does not allow me to leave so early in the AM.
I don't miss anyone (except Sonny!)

Dr. Weiner...blah blah blah...cordially invite you to attend...blah blah blah...C&C.

My vote is for the 458.

You may be waiting a while.

Only by a mile. All the more fun in the Italiana.

Again, you may be waiting a while.

Have the Candy Stripier drive you.

We miss him too, and hope he brought us lots of presents from Spain.

Don't get your hopes up for any presents... At almost a buck fifty to the Euro, I only had money to buy myself lots of stuff.. Oh, and Simone too...

Miss you too Doc, just not the same.. But if you are waiting for 80 degrees I guess we will see ya in July....

Wow! A 70-degree sunny day AND Mansfield promises to show up ON THE SAME DAY?
    Zap Zap

I'll believe it when I see it. :)

The real question is what will you be driving?

Sonny now drives the Sonny Bus when he bring Simone.

Will you be driving the Mans Van?

What a difference some sunshine can do! Amazing!

There were probably 50+ cars today, not sure if we got an actual count. Plenty of red Italians, as well as white, blue and black ones as well.

Several marques were strongly represented today. Nissan, Porsche, BMW, Audi, Honda, even a Lambo showed up! Plus a microcar on a trailer!

Marty graced us with his presence for at least an hour, after he requested (and received) a round of applause for showing up. Seems he brought the sun back with him from Cali, but only today let it out of the suitcase.

Mike rolled in his new family car. Looking good going topless! (Thankfully the car, not Mike!) And Mike is getting a full education on the effort involved in keeping an eye on a very busy daughter!

Looking forward, we should have even more cars in the future, due to the parking space for everyone. Hopefully Starbucks can accomodate the surplus Saturday crowds and sales! It was busy today, both times that I went inside for a refill.
