Said I would get it in the fall. Also mentioned if I made the deposit now I would be in the first 5 deliveries. Not sure I want that on a new car.

Agreed, I just didn't think he could get it so fast this far into the launch.

Ahh k . .get it. Yes I agree on holding..

Wow, nice for Ferrari. I heard the list is quite long that is why I surprised to hear about such fast turnaround.

Especially with such a new platform, steering, roof, etc. I know some of it is shared but still.. additionally I would say that there will be an HS and I am probably going to take ours back off the market and drive another season.

I asked a few weeks ago if their was any allocation.

The answer was no and not sure when. My guess is this summer.

Europe of course is always first before the USA.

For reference, I ordered one in Aug ‘17 (right after the pics came out) and am being quoted mid ‘19 delivey. In London

Anyone got a pic of the PF in Rosso Fiorano colour?

I think this will look as good as the launch colour (Rosso Portofino), especially in sunlight. Call me old fashioned but I struggle to see the value in paying £15k+ for the launch colour...thoughts...?

yikes did not know it was 15k british for rosso portofino! it does look stunning in it tho. i think i will wait on ordering. atlanta says they will take deposits. i am still looking to get back into a 458 (and keep forever) but the prices are not budging! amazing it has to be the slowest depreciating car i have ever tracked. i believe it will be considered much like the 308 GTS is now in 20 years. have a space all saved for it in the garage :)

I believe that each UK dealer has an allocation of cars per year. So one dealer may quote mid '19 for a Portofino and another may quote end '18 depending on the orders they have. I ordered Aug 17 too and was asked to spec my car in Feb at the dealership. I have decided to use the Atelier service and am off to Ferrari in April to spec. Although the dealer has not quoted me a timescale for delivery, I would hope that it will be before the end of '18 or 1st quarter '19.

UK price list states £7,104 for historic or special colour for the Portofino.

Pretty sure the historical colours are £7k in the UK but the launch colour (Rosso Portofino, triple layer paint) is about double that...?!

^Interesting. On the configurator - do solid & metallic colors come with an up-charge?
