The car is 2020, 6k miles.
I've noticed a small patch on one of the displays a few months ago, maybe half the size of a finger print. Didn't give it much thought, assuming it was just a patch of grease or something like that.
But last week after picking up the car from my favorite carwash, where they do everything by hand and very carefully, this is how they look like:

The guy who worked on the car says he used a dry and gentle cloth to wipe the screens. It's not dirt, it not grease and it doesn't go away. When you touch it you don't feel anything special. It honestly feels like the damage is somewhere beyond the surface. I asked the owner of the car wash to have a lock at it, he tried using some special cleaning product on a brand new piece of cloth, nothing. It does not go away and it does not get any worse or larger.

Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Looks like the thin protective film is still on the display

I'm not sure I understand, are you saying there's a protective film there that I didn't see and it can be peeled off?

I will take the car out tomorrow and have a better look. It would be so dumb on my side if that was it. But it would also make me quite happy :)

Protective film or not, from the estimated range for a nearly full tank of 291 km, it looks like you are enjoying the car :)

If are reasonably close to the dealer, I would just swing by and ask them to have a look at it, it may be a little difficult to peel it off as the corners are recessed
