I find it sort of hard to understand who the market is for a more hard core Portofino. It's a delicate balancing act to manage performance against GT usability for a car in this class and the current Porto M seems just about spot on to me. I don't think I'd be interested in a more hard core car. If I wanted that, I wouldn't be looking at the Portofino.

Agreed... except that with the F8 being done, maybe this special model is the only non-Hybrid V8 available for a brief moment?

I missed F8 by 12 days. Would welcome a hardcore Portofino. PM is good, bet the hardcore ver would be even better. 296 GTB does not look as evocative as F8 in my opinion.

Same thing for me. The Roma drives more on the edge than the Porto, a PM that drives like the Roma would be great. There's a scoop in the hood, pretty much all I could tell to be different. Height seems to be the same, sound is difficult to judge.

ALL Portofinos come HS. Compared to a California T,the PF has a stiffer structure, less weight (my PF weighed in at over 300 pounds less than a T),and what are essentially the T's HS springs (rears the same, fronts 15.5% stiffer versus 16% stiffer for the HS T). The biggest surprise with my PF was how well it handled stock compared to a T (now I have Novitec/Eibach springs).
