Hi all, thought I would introduce myself. My name is David and I have recently purchased a Dec 20 reg portofino in what I believe is called “Tour de France blue” I have not collected the car yet but should have it this week (I presume there is no difference in the Porto from start of production until the M came out!?) I had it out for a short test drive with the sales guy and was fairly impressed, I just hope I continue to enjoy the experience! my recent purchase have not gone so well eg a Porsche 911S (992 model) which I bought from the dealer without test driving and within I hour of leaving the showroom I realised it was not the car for me and my opinion did not change, 3 months later it was gone!
I have an Alfa Romeo 4c Spider which I bought new in 2016 and still enjoy it as much as the day I got it.
When I was looking at the portofino I was also thinking would I have been better holding out for a later M model Porto but I couldn’t justify the initial price difference I just hope that lingering doubt doesn’t remain!

Sorry for the long winded introduction to my first Ferrari experience but coming 60 this year I thought it was now or never!

    Regards to all
    David.

David , I also added a Porto about 4 months ago and absolutely love it. I bought it to replace an MBZ SL63 as my daily driver and couldn’t be happier. The car handles well and it’s super comfortable as well as sporty for an overall great combination while being driven with the paddles in sport mode. The other nice part is that you don’t see many Porto’s so it’s definitely something different. Post pics and good luck , Kirk.

The Portofino M is an update of the Portofino and there are some differences. I would enjoy your purchase and not think twice. Have fun!

Thank you, I hope to take it on a few European trips and the little bit of extra luggage space won’t go a miss!

Welcome and congrats! IMHO TdF blue is one if not THE prettiest and classiest Ferrari "normal" colors- and looks particularly good on the front-engine cars.

Enjoy- Pics when you get her- Cheers

Oh believe me my friend- I literally was up all night the night before I picked up my first Ferrari and drove to the dealership at 2am to peer through the glass to see her sitting there on the showroom floor with a "SOLD' tag- Was at the dealership an hour before they opened the next day. For most it is a lifelong dream realized- and for most accomplishing it required hard work, sacrifice, good decisions etc. You should be over-the-moon and the good news is it never wears off- At least not in my case- and my first was 12 years ago :)
