I wrote an email to let the seller know what had happened (figured it may have been an employee with a bad day brewing, etc.) and got an email back that I should go away ( that was the entire message) after some checking I noticed that some bidders for their vehicles were everywhere and in fact had tried selling some of the same vehicles they were selling .reported it to eBay well see if they address it ..Kerry
I checked out the links... Item location is Covington KY, 5 minutes from where I spend some time on my rental properties... Covington is hardly an area that has many ferraris ( heck you'd be hard pressed to see BMW's there for the most part!). If you contact this guy, I can drive over there to see if legit. let me know gordon
As I said I believe it's a scam..............I called they didn't want to talk. I emailed they said get lost................ I am passing through Covington on Friday with an empty trailer and cash...........I explained this to them, but I had a few questions.........they didn't want to discuss at all................ This place is selling F cars/Bentley's/Bimmers/Limos............................. Thanks for the offer, but I don't have any interest in dealing with that "crew"! Kerry

Well I guess it was best that I did not bid and win this F-car...........I called the tel # you listed and that stated to call anytime if there were questions...........The person that answered asked what questions I might have and I stated that first, "What was the reason for wanting to sell the Mondial?".......The response! It's amazing how people try to put off potential buyers. When I was looking to change from my 308 I called on a guy with a 3.2 Mondial (print ad. no pic) the ad stated the car had 8,000 or so miles, he answered a few questions I asked him if he would send some digital pics of the car before I arrange to fly up there for a inspection. He told me that he would not send any pics and I should know what a 8,000 mile Mondial should look like. Needless to say I passed.
Maybe his account got hijacked. And someone is using his seller name to scam some people. It has happened to me. i was out of town and my manager said we were getting calls on a few motorcycles we were selling, he kept telling the buyers that we don't sell motorcycles. Most got upset and hung up on him. He then called me and asked when I started selling motorcycles. It got cleared up by eBay a few days later. Just a thought. I am just trying to figure out why anybody would talk to someone the way they did. It does not add up. One should not even talk to an enemy that way.
I just followed his instructions............ "If you are a realistic cash buyer , please contact us anytime. Call 800 513 0057." And the rest is comedy..............also got called a "crack head"..........I was immediately prompted to look in the mirror and consider a 28 day program...............LOL Kerry
