This thread is mainly for all users from Europe.

Who knows me knows that I am quite affin regarding exhaust systems and rims. Rims I also change every now and then, unless I find mall a final solution. A top solution I already drive with the OZ Ultraleggera HLT with 10er distances and titanium wheel bolts. In addition, I drive the series tire dimension with Michelin 4S 225/35/19 and 285/35/19. I am basically extremely satisfied with it. Looks good and is also top in terms of performance. Not as light as forged rims, but lighter than series.

However, I have always been looking for the combination front axle 19 inches and rear axle 20 inches. I find 20 inches front and rear visually too large, 19 inches rear a little too small. I know some owners of a 360 or F430 which would find these sizes best, however, there is such a thing with expert opinion unfortunately not currently.

    Idea:
I have now got a contact in the USA to Titan7, which make lightweight forged rims. One of the managers has a 430 Scuderia and has then also made rims for himself. Design is strongly based on the BBS FI, so a classic, sporty design which is also on the 599 GTO. He made them for himself in 19 inches front and rear, so you can also take the stock tires. To be exact, they are 8.5x19 ET25 and 11x19 ET30. That's pretty perfect. Since nothing strips, looks good and light the rims are also still. The front rim should weigh 9 kg and the rear 9.8 kg. Here are pictures of the vehicle. I think some of you already know the rims.

I would now have the opportunity for my vehicle to make the desired combination front 19 and rear 20 inches. Lightweight rims are also and visually I always found them extremely good. However, there is a catch: The cost of a set alone including expert opinion. 10 sets minimum purchase and costs for expertise in the very clear five-digit range, a set is of course not worth it. I have already asked in my 360 and 430 community and there is definitely interest for currently 6-7 sets. That would be 19 and 20 inches - Enough rubber front and rear regarding the performance we also still have. Perfect in my opinion! Ferrari centercaps can also be used.

    Question:
Would anyone here also be interested? Price will be around € 4,700 - 5,500, unless there are major changes. I also find the price for forged rims sensational, considering the BBS, Vossen etc. cost between 8,000 and 13,000 €.

You can write here or just a PN to me. I'm curious whether this is what, but do not expect anything for now. In general, you need not be surprised if there are fewer and fewer registrable legal rims for our cars at these extreme costs for the expertise. I would start that for our community from 10-15 sets otherwise that would be absolute nonsense financially alone for my car.

    Many greetings
    Jochen

I think you mean wheels, not rims. https://housegrail.com/rims-vs-wheels/

something like this happens when you do it quickly because you don't have time and just type the already written text in a German forum, just quickly into the translator. Sorry!

BC forged make custom wheels for you without minimum quantity and very reasonably priced.

Seems they're 5 threads going on right now related to this, I'll chime in again.

A lot of us love the BBS wheels, but the rear offset is wrong, you have to take a saw to your car to fit them
James at Titan 7 literally copied the design, fixed the offset and offered them with the same quality for a 1/3 the price... But only in 19.

Bcforged make the rz21 which is the same design, same fully forged quality same price as Titan7.
I picked the correct offsets in a 19/20 setup and couldn't be happier.
No rub, no cutting, the ratio is 100% identical to stock

Understand it all and the BC Forged look good, but Titan7 would also make me 19/20 but from 10 sets. In addition, we need a certificate in Europe, but urgently in Germany, so that we can drive the wheels legally. The police make strict controls here with severe consequences. The certificate costs another 20,000 dollars for me. That's why I'm looking for European users who also want a set with a certificate. At the moment we have about 7, but we need 10-15 so that the costs are amortised.

A quick Google search shows plenty of bcforged dealers on Germany, I would assume they have a certificate?

No, there are no certificates. The market is not that big and the costs are extreme. That's why there are extremely few wheels in Europe that are legal. Several wheels have to be destroyed for the certificate plus the costs for the inspectors. That is almost never worthwhile for the manufacturers. That's why I'm trying to take this into my own hands. I am very well connected in the German scene.

I was in Germany at the ring in August this year with my USA F430 running BC forged. And while I was there I learned about TUV, and you have my sympathy

Germany is the only country without a speed limit, but is very strict about tuning. There are some major cities in Germany that have so-called "Soko's" in use, which drive civil patrols and control only tuned cars. At the slightest suspicion, the car is towed away and taken to an appraiser. All costs are usually borne by the vehicle owner. That's why hardly anyone drives illegal wheels or exhaust systems here anymore. For this reason, I want to legalize a great set of wheels for the community, but this is associated with extreme costs. Currently we stand at 7 sets, which is still clearly too little.
