What makes it a Scuderia other than the rear bumper and badge?

More than likely its a rear end conversion. It doesnt have the Scud wheels.

well If they have gone to that much trouble with the rear, I'm sure it has a Scud front which is simple to do

Nice photos, keep them coming. The 430 S is due to arrive here in the U.S. next spring to a select few who have them on order. I have not seen any pictures other then these. Not sure if the 430 S Spider is in fact a Scuderia Spider. Anyone here have an order placed.

Its likely that these pics are a standard 430 Spider with Scuderia rear bumper and maybe front bumper. From what I can tell the interior is not that of a Scuderia and the Challenge wheels are not an option on the Scuderia

You might be right. Notice there is no bisection of the open intake in front of the front wheel like in a "true" Scud.

I believe you are correct Kuzi. Gorgeous Scud btw, is it Rosso Corsa? I'm sure you posted pics somewhere else, guess I just missed it. Congrats :)

Another subtle difference is where the air scoop ending in front of the rear tires is located................the top of the horizontal line extends out about 1/4 inch on a Scud...........where in the black Spider..............its flush with the body work. Very subtle, but its definitely there. So again John, I believe you are correct.

it makes me wonder what kind of exhaust was used for this conversion since the Scuderia one can't be fitted on any regular F430. The way the Scuderia exhaust is design it would need the F340 to have rear chassis modifications.
