    Hey all,

I have an IBM ThinkPad 600X laptop that's a few years old but still works great, and I've been wondering if it's possible to add a Bluetooth expansion to it so I can tether it to my Treo 700W and use the phone as a wireless modem (which Palm says you can). I used to have third-party software for this on my Treo and I could connect it to the ThinkPad with the sync cable but sometimes the software would make my phone freeze up so I'm thinking that using the Bluetooth capability might make for smoother operation on each end. Any ideas?

    bergxu,

I carry a IBM ThinkPad T43 and had the same problem. Easiest solution is to grab a USB Bluetooth adapter, available from most any electronics store. I personally use a D-Link adapter and have never had any problems sync'ing my Palm with my laptop. Newegg has it for $30.00 at this link:

Hope this helps and if you have any questions or need help just PST me.
