Possibly the most epic karting video ever?

This past weekend was the Rotax Max Karting Grand finals in Italy. This event is by invitation only and invitations are issued based on winning (or coming in the top 2-3) your national championship. To say the least these are some of the best up and coming racing drivers in the world.

In the video the particular driver, Daniel Morad, from Canada made a dramatic come from behind victory to claim the Rotax World Championship. Watch as in a matter of seconds this goes from the best day of the guys life to very possibly one of the worst, by far!!!

I would like to stick by previous comments that karting is a safe-ish sport.... as long as you don't have to race against this guy! (or atleast cross the finish line anywhere near him!)

Rule #1
Always keep one hand on the wheel.
It grates on me to see even F1 winners pump their hands in the air after a win.

 

They should have awarded him the 'wanker' prize.
