Rob/Moderator, please make this a 'sticky.' We here at Fchat have a valuable voice and together we can find proper solutions to denied alleged manufacturer defects/in warranty claims.

Because there appears to be dissatisfaction with Ferrari North America (FNA) and are personally familiar with denials of warranty work from FNA's appointed dealers (355 headers come to mind as does alleged CF discoloration in 360s)....

IMPORTANT: When you take your car in for warranty repair, please provide dealer with written claim/supporting documentation. Please also try to obtain and submit to dealer a copy of your photographic/video proof of the manufacturer's defect. You need as much communication between you and the dealer to be IN WRITING. If the dealer/ FNA denies your claim you want that is writing with a explanation from the dealer for their reason of denial.

The solution to the problems quite a few new car owners are experiencing is in your hands. You have the power to achieve a proper solution for manufacturer defects and make life easier for the next Ferrari owner. There is no need to wait decades for a seal belt fix in a Ferrari Testarossa and let us all hope 360/430/550/599/etc owners do not have to wait decades for a resolution. You have the power to help FNA understand if there is a widespread defect and repair said defect under warranty.

Please feel free to scan claims of denial here on Fchat or PM me. Thank you.

It is almost never done in writing. I was just talking to a CS owner about CF problems yesterday and in his case they will not even write a service order.

They do not provide evidence to hang them with easily.

This is a very good idea. I sense the birth of a new club, the "FNA Denies Warranty club". This would benefit all Ferrari owners so please post your Warranty Denials and post often.

If this is the case, am sure you have legal options. Bring a camcorder with you... and/or a lawyer. Again, everything MUST be in writing or video/photo. Even if they refuse to service your car, get that in writing and/or have a witness with you/camcorder it. Am sure it is easier said than done, yet it is time we all band together and get an idea how widespead various situations are.
