good book going to be released in a couple if weeks about the ANZAC experience in Greece in WW2

 

Battle of Crete?

 

Covers that and all the mainland battles, interviews diggers and some of the resistance fighters that are still alive. Always wonder what happened to the digger that my grandad took in and hid in the mountains of southern Greece. He fought alongside the resistance fighters for nearly a year and was a signallman

I saw a book about the ANZAC experience in the Greek Islands just the other week actually. In the American Book Shop in Brisbane...
