Ha my buddy owns the red and yellow 599. I stupidly like it. Also I like that tan and white 599 interior
It's listed as actually being a white car so without the stupid red chrome wrap and horrid wheels it probably wouldn't be a bad looking car. Oh, and lose the 90's underbody neon for Christ's sake!
I can't find a picture but there was a green on green on green on green..... 456 floating around years ago.
Nothing stupid about it, my Lamborghini is red and yellow inside (pearl yellow exterior) and gets a lot of compliments.
Does your buddy also happen to have extremely large shoes and have an ongoing feud with the Hamburgler?
There is also a metallic green over green Scuderia with an over the top leather diamond stitched interior that is really beautiful.
These unusual configurations are not for everyone.....I just don't want to be that 10th guy at a show with a red over tan Ferrari....that's just boring to me. The reception at shows are probably 85-90% positive. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
on DupontRegistry, there are a few cars in the same year with 1/2 to 1/3 of the mile for 40-50K less. price seems a tad high
I admire your Baller attitude but I have to tell you the 10 to 15% negative reaction may involve nausea and lightheadedness. Did you order these colors yourself? Or did you pick this car as a later owner? I certainly agree that there are very many color combinations which are boring. I have owned several. In the end it’s about what you like and not what other people like even if they accuse you of poor taste. Did you see you see the thread where Ferrari declined to allow the colors /combination to go to production? .
I saw that car on the showroom floor at Ferrari Newport Beach ,if I had the money at the time I would have bot it ,the trunk was also diamond stitched as well. thought it looked great!
Yeah, the guy that tried to spec out 6 interior colors...... My car is a factory special edition called the MOMO Edition, built to honor the decades of collaboration between Lamborghini and MOMO.......and as many here would know, MOMO has also been a key Ferrari supplier for 50+ years. There were 12 made, 6 in yellow (now 5) like mine and 6 in red where the interior color pattern was swapped. Everybody gets to have an opinion, so not a problem for me.......I've let dozens of kids get behind the wheel at shows (with parent permission) so they get into the craziness as well.
I saw one silver outside and red interior, i thought it would look better in person but it didnt, it was disgusting (particularly inside)
I love red interiors in general, but sometimes it gets to be too much. For example, contrasting my Diablo with the 599 above, my car has black carpets, upper dash pad, air bag cover, and steering wheel/steering column....which helps contrast with the red & yellow. I thought about buying a 993 Turbo a couple of years ago that was all flamenco red everywhere and even in person it was just too much.
