I know that there has been a lot of discussion about to stripe or not to stripe the CS. That is not what this thread is about. I am looking for people that purchased a non-striped CS and later decided to add a stripe to it that was different than the CS classic stripe.

I purchased a non striped CS because the car itself was as close to flawless as I have seen. My preference was a striped car but my priority was getting the best example of a CS I could find. I really like the aggressive nature of the stripe on a CS but I feel that if I add a CS stripe that I will cheapen the car in some way because I will be trying to imitate something that I don't have verses if I put a different stripe on the car it will feel more original. I'm sure my logic can be challenged. I don't want to spend a lot of time debating this. I simply would like to focus on the alternate stripe options others have gone with? I will then decide whether I want to stripe if or leave it as is.

I did the exact same thing as you and put on a OEM stripe on my first CS but it still bugged me emough that I sold the car and purchased one with the factory stripe. My opinion is always get what you want even if it costs a little more, you will be happy in the end.

Well I don't have a CS but my car has a full CS body kit and you can have an idea on how the 16M Scud italian line looks. Check out my garage pictures to see it.
    Hope it helps you!

This had nothing to do about price. Frankly, I paid above market. My #1 goal was to get the best example CS with leather interior I could find. The stripe is nice but not a necessity for me. I just thought I would see if anyone added a non-OEM stripe to see what options might exist if I get the bug.

How did I know this would be your opinion? :) Actually, I do like mine the way it is. I just saw a CS with dual wide white stripes (real aggressive) the other day and it got me thinking what else is out there? BTW, open ticket to come check out my setup! Text me.

I like the 16M stripe the best. I already bought a standard Stradale stripe but I'm seriously considering selling it and buying a 16M. I'm on the fence.

The 16M stripe is nice but I believe only belongs on a 16M. The same goes for the Stradale stripe. That is why I am looking to see if anyone has done something "non-OEM" or non standard? If I was ever to put on a stripe I wouldn't want it to be that I was trying to add a factory option that I didn't get. I would want it to be unique and something that the factory didn't offer. As mentioned above, I have only seen one CS that had a non-standard stripe. It was a dual white stripe that wrapped back to front all the way down the front spoiler. Looked real aggressive and pretty cool on a CS. It just got me thinking whether anyone else has installed a non-standard stripe on their CS?

    Hi Jason,
Here is one of our customer's CS with a 16M Stripe on it.
As we have seen most of the likely combinations, most of the Stripes look good across the range.
Even when you think there might be a conflict with color, like a CS Stripe on white or Scuderia Stripe on grey, they take on a different appearence, but still look great.
Who ever designed them at Ferrari must have concluded each time; "This says Ferrari"
We are hanging out for what they come up with for the 458. :)
    We are bias of course.:D
    Ciao

Now that sums it all up. Not about trying hard to be another model, but more of having stripes coz it screams Ferrari! Thanks for sharing.
