Speccing my SF90 - AF package or Non-AF? And if AF stripe or no stripe? Just need what majority here would say? Thanks!

AF-package with no-stripe.
Also depend on which color/colour you choose

 

Agreed. That's the spec I'd choose.

 

Agreed AF with no stripe but dealer wants me to put stripe. Going for Grigio Silverstone.

AF package without the stripe. For me, the whole stripe craze is garish and has gotten so overblown.

 

I went AF non Stripe, so biased… took out a non AF car yesterday at my dealer, could not believe how smooth the ride was, thought I was in bumpy road mode until factory driver said no, you have too push this.. standard suspension way too smooth and compliant for me, was always going AF but doubly relieved I did now…

 

Thanks for the reassurance. Majority seem to like the AF package.

I want the AF without stripes let’s see if my dealer will do it for me or not. If not I’ll pass this car.

The dealer not letting you order it without Stripe, is this about some minimum spend to get an early delivery? The AF option is a big ticket item and I’m sure you would be adding Carbon inside or outside as well… not following their logic.. if for some bizarre reason they still think you are short by the Stripe price of $25,000, as the stripe is so divisive, why not go for a Special Paint option. Still perplexed by what they are saying to you.

I think there is no such thing as perfection -- but that comes pretty darn close!

I love the use of yellow in the interior.

 

Well thank you! I pushed them to do more yellow than they recommended - like the steering wheel grips - but I think it works well! I just hope the yellow leather looks right with the Giallo Triplo Strato paint.

 

Funny you said this but I was imagining they would push back on the yellow steering wheel. I love it and I'm sure you will also.

Finally settled on my spec and locked it in for production, now the painful waiting time to delivery.

I like the stripe you chose! Which 'blue' shade for the exterior paint color? Interesting use of silver on the wheels...

2 are AF pack.Neither has stripes.
