After reading the funniest posting by Ecoloqua who was trying to sell his Ferrari, I am sure most of the F-Brothers here will have more stories... here's mine:

I was trying to sell my last Porsche and I kept getting calls from this weirdo. He's the kind that calls every 2 days and asks you the exact same questions over and over which will make you live the "Groundhog Day" movie. Being respectful, I started cutting it short and did not do what I really wanted to do (telling him that if he calls one more time, I will find him and break his ribs). The car sold and he called a day after. This time I decided to keep him on the phone as long as I could. I was answering all the same questions, told him that I reduced the price $15K etc... about 10 minutes later, I hear a voice behind him saying:"What the hell did I tell you about personal calls at work!! We have a problem at pump #6, GO SOLVE IT!"

I had similar experiences when I sold my 2000 WS6 T/A. I began to wonder whether or not I was the only person in the world who liked that car that wasn't a total dirtbag. Teeth missing, ratty clothes, deep poverty written all over them. It seemed they only came to look and sit in it. "Sweet car, dude, if it was half as expensive, I'd buy it." What? My asking price was clearly printed in all my ads, why are you here? Or "These are sweet, but I like Mustangs better." Then go buy one! Beat it! It eventually sold, but it was an ordeal up to that point. I am dealing with similar types now trying to sell my Big Dog Chopper. Can't afford it, no credit, no money. And they ask to ride it, too! Without a motorcycle license! Uh, sorry. I think I will cancel all my local ads and put it on ebay or something..... What a pain. What possesses these types to waste someones time like this? Sorry for the rant.....

Yeah, kind of, I asked if they had seen the asking price in the ad, and a couple said, "Well, I thought I could talk you down." To half off?!? This ain't JCPenney! I said, Not that much! and told them thanks for stopping by. I should have been more of a jerk, I guess. I pulled all of my local ads out of the paper for my bike today. I should be putting it on ebay in the next few days. Unfortunately the dirtbags have internet. Oh well:)
