    I really never had anything eventful happen to me solo yet. With my instructor I had an engine gradually lose RPM's and finally die on about a one mile final. Darren, my instructor, let me handle the whole situation since this was a couple weeks before my first solo and he trusted me. Ironically the flight was from Death Valley to North Las Vegas.

    On solo's I did learn it's real easy to forget things that are second nature to you when your with someone. Nothing bad, just little things, thankfully I caught them all.
