Lets see who got the worst job this weekend.

I cleaned out the spa (Drained & waxed) and filled it up along with trimming the tree branches over it on the deck.....Cleaned out a spider filled wood room....Re-set a wax ring under one of the toilets and got a few hours in on the new bathroom build in the downstairs guest room (Along with a trip to the dumps).

Take two ton enclosed truck full of demo materials to the dump. Dig out existing foundation in wifes soon to be garage and prep for re-enforcement.
Bore and clean 32 holes for rebar to be epoxied into foundation.
Cut down two trees and haul out to the alley.Take down 150 feet of chain link fence and bust off steel posts at the concrete. Go over to the garage and hide for a while. Now its time for 60 minutes.

    I win!

I'm still at work. Got the AX100 fiberchannel storage array in at the end of last week, been working on getting it online, configured, working without a switch (yea yea I know but it isn't really needed in this configuration) and installing oracle. Currently running into a few road blocks and have a tar opened with oracle... waiting here at work for a response hoping to get it resolved so I can finish configuring it and import the data over from the sun boxes so processes will work in the morning.

    This has been a l o n g weekend!

but, I did venture out on the water for a few hours yesterday, so that's a plus!

Nearly 500 miles on the 328 in the sunshine, top down! A bit if a sunburn, but worth the slightly elevated cancer risk. This was actually on the orders of my wife...Ok, ok...she had friends up all weekend and knew I wanted out of the house most of the time:)

Dropped off an S500..finished off an engine out service on a 355, helped a customer organize a tow to the GM dealer for his broken down hummer H2, looked at a couple of houses to buy, had some sex, took a 355 down to the lake, parked in the reserved parking at the fancy resteraunt, and walked along the peir with my girl. Made a whole bunch of noise with the freshly installed Capristo and hyperflow system I installed in the car (sounds much better then a tubi).

All in all not a bad weekend..

I just fixed a leaking trap under my wife's sink in "her" bathroom. My reward..... watch "Miss Congeniality 2". That shoud take the contest!

Oh, I did take the car out twice just to blow off the goo from watching the movie. 140 on a back road, I feel much more manly now! Now I'm going out to kill and skin something.:)

    The weekend WAS:

Friday, 7:00pm: Drive 75 miles in a Yukon XL w/ family, 85lb dog, chainsaw, pole saw, gas blower and other assorted tools/food/clothes. Arrive at newly acquired weekend home. Discover electricity is turned off, everything in freezer has melted and run onto kitchen floor. Interior temperature: 88. Spend Friday night on floor sleeping on a blow up mattress at the house I just vacated, but the A/C works.

Saturday: Power at new place was back on. Wife cleaned up the melted blackberry cobbler. I moved the boat from home 1 to home 2. Blew up the inflatable trampoline for my kids while wife goes to buy ceiling fans. Then I got out the chainsaw. Is there anything better in life than a chainsaw? 45 minutes later 2 large oak trees had lost some baggage and I had a view. Installed ceiling fan in master bedroom, only to discover I'm missing 15 screws. Uninstall ceiling fan. Installl ceiling fan in kids room, works perfectly. Then off to Dairy Queen to celebrate with some ice cream cones. Made mistake of stopping at Lowes. Found CHEAP patio furniture on clearance. Stocked up. Had to go back the next day, wouldn't all fit in the truck. Never should've stopped. Had to put it all together. Finished at 11pm.

Sunday: Return to Lowes for remainder of patio furniture. Back to old house. Mowed lawn. I hate mowing. Made my 10 year old do much of it, he loves it. I got out the weedeater. Hate that too. Loaded the truck with much of remaining junk not yet moved. Most of it heavy. Unloaded at new house. Still heavy. Made kids finish cleaning up the evidence of my chain saw work. Drug kids around the lake in a tube. Kid's can't make up their minds on speed, drives Dad crazy. Go slower, go faster, repeat. Installed ceiling fan. All screws are there this time, I checked before I started. Put boat away, deflated trampoline. Carried tramp to garage. The damn thing is heavy. Put everything else away so the crystal meth moms won't steal it. Load truck. Why is everything so heavy? Drove home. Had a National Lampoon Vacation moment: everyone in car asleep, including Dad. Oops. Time to wake up the dog. Made it home alive.

Monday: Glad to be back at work so I can get some rest.

How many M-80s did you use?

    No.
    ______

Slept 8 hours for first time in almost a month, instead of a nap or 2.

Changed shower curtain in 1 library, affixed new toilet seat, exchanged trash can & dropped new bath rug.
Master library got new shower curtain liner & bath rug.

Unhooked DVD RCA audio outputs from misbehaving stereo, hooked directly to TV.

Went to restaurant with river view, had NY steak - closer to Medium rare than Medium (in other words, damn near perfectly cooked), poached eggs, hash browns, sourdough toast with Apple-Cinnamon jelly on 2 half-slices, Concord Grape jelly on 2 half-slices, washed down with ice water with lemon slice.

Saw snippet of Tom Cruise (in need of Ritalin) while railing against Ritalin on TV.

    Took 3+ hour nap.
    _____

Still have a day and a half left...

Went to best friend's wedding. Got drunk as promised, and made impromptu toast.

Stole a golf-kart and spun dohnuts in the parking lot. Twice. Last time with 4 friends onboard.

Worked on house (stained deck, cleaned garage, hung garage door, spread 10 yards of gravel on driveway, finish trim & touch-up paint interior, make cover for attic, etc.)
