Literally. Let me rewind to the beginning of the story. So, the Sacramento Auto Show was this weekend, and our local car group had two buildings of Cal Expo, where the show was held, to fill with cars. My F355 Spider was invited, and I accepted. Luckily, I also have some co-workers who are car guys, one of whom (we'll call him Jason, since his name is Jason...) has a 1950 Studebaker Champion. I got his car into the show, as well. Neither he nor I really "show" our cars anywhere that so many people would see it, so it was going to be exciting for us. We had to bring the cars in on Thursday, as the show ran from Friday through Sunday. So the Ferrari came with me to work on Thursday, so I could bring it to the show. I have a co-worker who hadn't seen it yet, so I was showing it to him over lunch. Jason stopped by and snapped a couple quick camera phone shots. The show was a lot of fun. We had a great mix of old and new in our section - from Karmann Ghia to Aston Martin, Fiat to Ferrari. About 45 vehicles total. Today, Jason came to give me a token of his appreciation - ten postcards, made from one of the photos he took on Thursday! It was so thoughtful, and was truly the perfect gift. You can see the postcards (and yes, you can order some, too, if you like) here: http://www.redbubble.com/products/configure/6265219-greeting-card Just thought I'd share yet another way that the car has made me happy.
