OK is there now a restriction on talking about selling a Mondial in the forums?

I recall threads in the past talking about re-homing beloved Ferraris and questions back and forth and so on. I put up a quick thread about getting ready to sell mine and now it's gone. Why is that?

It's in the Terms of Use:

    FerrariChat.com - Forum Rules

With additional clarification in the rules:

    FerrariChat.com Rules

A subscriber is allowed to post a discussion thread in one of the forums AFTER they have first posted an ad in the appropriate subforum of the Classified Ads section. This is a courtesy for infrequent private users of the ad system. Commercial users or private users that advertise often enough to be effectively commercial can post in the Classified Ads section but are not permitted to post any discussion threads.

Yes. Only new posters are restricted from the PM system until their posts (first couple of posts) are approved.

Thanks. That clears it up for me. The discussions I saw must have been by people who had posted official ads and jumped through the right hoops. Well, when the time comes, I'll do the same. I will also create a facebook page detailing everything. (Pictures, history, repair records etc) The subscription fee is a very reasonable fee to advertise and get a year subscription to boot. Even without the car, I'll be doing the insane Ferrari scale models and keeping up with all things Ferrari. (F40 with transkit and the famouse promocom C126)
    Thanks
    Dave
