Potentially adding a 720 to my garage

Other guy got his stuff approved--Monday I can now send my $$ and get my car into make ready and wrap!!

DONE DEAL!!

Now the wait with Thanksgiving week, which means pick up hopefully the week after.

Three cars on one truck 2, 2019, 720's, 1 2019, GT3RS...will be epic off loading.

 

we are doing a trip to morrow, VA to NC. Some guys coming from PA andNJ. should be 10 to 15 Macs. Going to tour Kooks, then do some track stuff. Street speed guy from YT should he there.

Sunday's event is at the Bondurant circuit at Will Horse Pass (used to be Firebird).

Locally we also have Arizona Motorsports Park (AMP). One of the best tracks in the West is a bit of drive, but worth it. IT'S ABOUT 3 HOURS AWAY IN WILCOX. INDE Motorsports Ranch. INDE is a private club, but they do put on a few events for non-members during the year. APEX is a similar concept, but much closer. They have been talking about doing this for 5 years. Who knows if it's going to happen.

 

That's a great car. All that CF down low scares me. Sometimes, as careful as we are, those are the areas that seem to be curb magnets. I was at the dealer a couple of month ago and they were telling about a 720 that had an altercation with a curb. The type of altercation that might scrape the underside of a bumper. No big deal, right? Apparently, the insurance co cut things off at $70K in damage!

The fronts of our cars (as pretty as they are), don't seem to like curbs..... and there is a lot of expensive (cheaply made) plastic that are layered together and not very tough. Be extra careful with that gem!

 

Ouch! Glad the car has the 360 cams for sure. Definitely going to beef up the PPF all around maybe double up on the lower sections.

I could do a Wickenburg-Yarnell-Prescott drive on Tuesday........ or stay local and Bartlett Lake.
