    Hi all,
Just thought I would stick this up for any whose power steering pipes have split.

Return pipe - I bought Gates SAE100 R6 12.5mm 1/2 “ original pipe was 12mm x 19mm, but could not find that - even the Mercedes Meyle 059 001 0001 tube that should be 12mm came through as 1/2” and yes I know 1/2” is 12.7mm but apparently most people think it is 13mm and Gates thinks it’s 12.5mm
The Gates stuff seems to fit. The old pipe was 3.08m and I used about 3.2m of the new stuff to get a nicer routing around the ABS pump.

The supply pipe I got from Maranello parts in the UK and was a bit peeved to pay £160 for a pipe marked up as 2009 that is probably actually older. It looks okay and has a warranty… if I figure out the end fittings size, I will post them here as you could get this made up cheaper. It is 2.5m long.

Not too bad to fit, I took return pipe out first with rope tied to it so that I could pull new hose back through. But then replaced supply pipe first as the fittings are large. I tied the new supply pipe to old to use the old pipe as a pull through. Then I pulled the new return pipe through.

My old supply pipe had worn through on the suspension turret bit. The new pipe seemed longer probably to avoid that happening again.
