I’m trying to give this downtime my best effort and take my 1997 355 engine out. I have hit a bump in the road and it’s the power steering line disconnection. I have the correct wrenches, 17mm and 22mm, but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to undo the bolt. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Looks like a male and female compression fitting. Unless its something special which there would be no reason for, one wrench on one and other wrench on the other, righty tighty lefty loosy so the wrenches pull away from each other. They look frozen, I'd run the engine to get the fittings hot then try cracking it loose.

Can confirm. Used marioz's method and had no issues. Also, for visibility, you might want to put a big blanket over the rear quarter, lay on it and put your knee on the engine cross bar for support. Can get your head above there and see a lot better.
1. Remove the engine lid (you did that, right?) 2. Lay a towel across the two air plenums and place your knees on them 3. I use a 17mm wrench and a 22mm wrench, both bent at the heads so they fit over the nuts better. 4. Arrange them so you can squeeze with both hands in the opening direction. Once it starts to move, you are home free. The alternative is to remove the air plenum on bank 2 which will give you very unlimited access to the fitting,

I invented a few curse words … even after I put a bend in the wrenches. On the way back, don't over tighten it. It just needs to seal the fluid, not holding up the engine. The next time you mess with it, you will thank yourself.
