    Guys/Gals ,
has anyone of you fellow Fcar people had or are thinking about
fitting power Steering to thier 308?. At present i am awaiting a brembo
front brake conversion( I don't think the standard brakes are up to much imo)
And i really do feel that the cars drivebility would be enhanced by having P/S.
One other nig, is the clutch feel very heavy, are there any mods that can
    reduce the pedal pressure.
That said, I have just sold a TVR cerbera, and although the
308GTB does not have the straight line punch, its so much
better in many aspects. It makes me smile, and in the two weeks of owner
ship, I am totally smitten. I have owned many cars in the past( V12 XJS,
Jensen interceptor, 928 s2, TVR chimeara, TVR Cerbera, BMw535, )
And I must say that the Ferrari does it for me in Spades!! . My wife thinks
that its a 42 year old trying to hang onto his youth .Nahh! Btw my friend
bought at the same time a 355, and I love the drive looks etc, .
the Bottom line is that i would have a 355 aswell as but I WOULD not
sell my Superb little Euro 308 for anything( even though i keep hitting my
head on the rear view mirror lol.
I'm very sorry for waffling on but you people Know what i'm on About.
Stas( off for an afternoon drive)

You don't give your location, but if you've got the four equal size metric wheels/tyres on your 308GTB you could go to a US 16" wheel set -- the 205 front tires would reduce the low speed steering effort (and I think the 308 B/S coachwork looks even better with the front/rear tyre size difference -- and with the front coachwork lowered, of course).
Adding power steering to a 308 has never come up here because (IMO) it would be a very serious $ & effort project. More power to you if you took it on and got it done, but prepare to give an arm or leg and much of your time.
The clutch rework is well-known (you should be able to search here and find it), but unless you're really desperate for some relief immediately, it's more efficient to do it at the same time as your next clutch refresh (when you've got the clutch housing off for other reasons) -- maybe an excuse to drive it more ;).
