    That's great! Someone on another forum said it sounded like a chevy :)

    I built the see-through Wankel Rotary when I was a kid; always wanted the V8 instead.

    The early versions of those were the best, they had an electric motor hidden inside the starter motor and the distributor lit up the tiny lightbulbs used as spark plugs. As the years went by they cost reduced them by removing the cool features until they ended up with just a handcrank. Good to see the OP rebuilt it as it should have been.

    Take a look at the difference between the one when Dad had a pipe and the new lame handcrank.
