    I wonder if these really make the handling better, especially on higher speeds.

    My old ones needed replacing anyway, as any originals would by now. So cant really compare difference with decent originals. But for me they tightened up everything superbly.

    Yes, they tightened up everything and make sure to use the proper grease to minimize the squeak sound coming from every corners.
