    All PPF will dim paint under it to some degree or another. Most obvious on certain 3-layers. Orange peel also worse the closer you look. Price you pay for chip protection on a driven car. For lots of use and ease of worry then do the whole car. For upgraded paint then just the front end. For very lightly driven then just front bumper. For true garage queen paint correction and wax only. There are downsides to any large decal glued to your cars paint.

    Check STEK as well - no orange peel and already coated. Also, very little adhesive which means you need a good installer but more importantly its not so difficult to remove and unlikely to pull paint.
